On January 31st Kid's Kickin' it for Christ went
into the Little Flower Orphanage in Wading River. We
were able to minister to several children from the
Boy's cottage ages 9-12. We had about 10 - 12 boys
and one girl showed up. We set up and danced in the
chapel there on the grounds. It is an old catholic
church with stained glass and wooden pews. We had some
difficulties with the space but we pushed through.
What a sight to see our kid's up in front of the alter
bustin a move for Jesus. The Kid's were responding
to us when into our third song our sound system came
under attack. We tried several times to keep going
but we were struggling and the kid's there were loosing
interest. As the sound was being worked on we were
able to share with the kids how valuable they are to
God and how much God loves them and wants to use their
lives for His glory. The response was amazing and the
kid's were so amazing as far as there tender hearts.
When we asked if any had any prayer needs ,everyone
who asked for prayer lifted up their families. One
young man I prayed with wanted healing for his sister
who has asthma. I realized right there that these kids
were throw away children. Kids too hard to handle so
they are sent away, yet they were not angry or bitter
just needy of Love. We are privilaged to have been
able to be God's hand outreached. We thought that things
had not gone so well with all the pitt falls but God
is bigger and so good. I recieved a call as soon as
we arrived home thanking us and asking us to come back
in the summer. Praise God! Please continue to pray
for this ministry as we go to share the love of Jesus
with some of the neediest children. We need the prayer
coverage greatly.

Who
are we ?
We are a new Children's ministry, birthed by God and
Lead by Dorothy and Laura. |

we do ?
We reach
all people with the Love of God in a new and creative way.
By using our talents we worship God and reach out to others
through dance and drama. |
Who can join the team ?
All children
ages Kindergarten to 6th grade who Love Jesus and want to
share that Love with others. |
Where and When ?
Every Sunday
right after service in the youth bay for one hour. (12-1).
As a performance date gets closer we will need to meet
on Saturdays for a few hours to make sure we are ready
to do our best. |
Our Vision |
| To reach the lost for Jesus through dance
and drama, at festivals like the strawberry fest,
summer VBS, children's hospitals, other churches,
and one day we pray even the public schools. With
God all things are possible. |
